Microsurgery Fellowship

Dear Microsurgery Fellowship Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the Microsurgery Fellowship at Stanford.  We offer a comprehensive program, which is intended to train world class microsurgeons.  Fellows are exposed to all areas of microsurgery including breast reconstruction, head & neck, extremity, hand, replantation, peripheral nerve, etc. We perform a variety of flaps, including D.I.E.P., S.I.E.A., S.G.A.P., T.R.A.M., A.L.T., fibula, D.C.I.A., parascapular, radial forearm, etc. Fellows are required to have a valid California medical license in order to obtain Clinical Instructor privileges and Junior Attending responsibilities. Opportunities for clinical and basic research are also available depending upon the applicants interest.

Applications for the 2010-2011 Fellowship year will be accepted starting May 1st, 2009 to July 31st, 2009.  Interviews are typically held in October or November.  Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency program is required prior to start of the fellowship.  One candidate is accepted to the fellowship program per year.  To initiate your application, please provide the items listed below:
