Apply to Stanford STaRS Internship

We will accept applications for the 2019 STaRS Internship
from December 2018 through January 2019.

Eligibility

The 7-week STaRS Internship is for high school and undergraduate students considering careers biomedical/biological sciences. Students must be age 16 or older at the time of the program to apply. Students under 18 will require signed parental consent forms to work in a biochemistry laboratory.  Students do not need to be US citizens to apply. Interns are expected to commit to the entire 7-week internship.

How to Apply

Complete online application: December 1, 2018 through January 31, 2019

Application requirements: Applicant will be asked to provide an application cover letter.  Applicant could be asked to provide letters of recommendation and to participate in additional screening activities. 

Notification: Invitations to interview along with any additional requirements will be sent out by February 28, 2019.

After Applying

Interviews: Scheduled during March 2019

Acceptance: Applicants notified of acceptance by end of March 2019.

Additional Requirements after Acceptance: Once accepted, students will be required to submit parental consent and complete several online trainings and forms.
