Curriculum Vitae

Doctor Kahn is a graduate of Tufts University. He attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York where he received his medical degree in 1991. In medical school he was acknowledged for outstanding achievement in the field of surgery with the Charles Eckert Award. He then completed a five-year General Surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. Next, Doctor Kahn pursued training in the field of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, where he completed his residency in 1998. He obtained sub-specialty training at the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery located at New York University Medical Center. Doctor Kahn completed his training Stanford University with a fellowship in Craniofacial and Maxillofacial Surgery under the direction of Dr. Stephen A. Schendel.

In August 2000, Doctor Kahn joined the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Faculty. He is board certified in Plastic Surgery, and General Surgery. Doctor Kahn's main surgical interests include cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, craniofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery.
