Referring Physicians

Make a Referral

As surgeons, we share your goal of providing the best possible care for your patients. We also strive to integrate training, research, and the development of novel technology with clinical care. In some cases, referring physicians seek a secondary consultation to confirm an opinion, to request more extensive diagnostic evaluations than may be available locally, or to have patients receive specialized treatment that they may be unable to provide. Please feel free to contact our faculty. Referring physicians are welcome to participate in our Department's educational activities listed under Courses and Conferences . Throughout and after their treatment at Stanford, we encourage patients to maintain close contact with their primary care and referring physicians.
