Apply to Stanford STaRS Internship

We will accept applications for the 2020 STaRS Internship
from November 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020.

Eligibility

The 7-week STaRS Internship is for high school and undergraduate students considering careers biomedical/biological sciences. Students must be age 16 or older at the time of the program to apply. Students under 18 will require signed parental consent forms to work in a biochemistry laboratory.  Students do not need to be US citizens to apply. Interns are expected to commit to the entire 7-week internship.

After Applying

Notification: Invitations to interview along with any additional requirements will be sent out by February 28, 2020.

Interviews: Scheduled during March 2020

Acceptance: Applicants notified of acceptance by end of March 2020.

Additional Requirements after Acceptance: Once accepted, students will be required to submit parental consent and complete several online training modules and forms.

Internship Dates: Typically the internship begins in late June and extends to the first week in August, exact dates to be determined.
