Visiting Observer Program
General Information
We are delighted to extend an invitation to students and physicians interested in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery to participate in the Visiting Observership Program offered by Stanford University's Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
Our program aims to provide invaluable firsthand experience by allowing participants to observe the daily tasks within various subspecialties of plastic surgery. Through this opportunity, observers will have the privilege to engage in discussions with some of the most esteemed plastic surgeons in the nation, gaining insights into innovative techniques, patient care, and the latest advancements in the field.
To apply for the Visiting Observership Program, please complete the application form at the link provided below. Upon receiving your application, we will provide you with necessary documentation regarding HIPAA compliance, required paperwork (submission of form does not guarantee placement), and other essential information to ensure a smooth and productive visit. Additionally, visitors should expect to submit current, formal immunization records from their physician's office or hospital, as self-reported vaccinations will not be accepted. Please see FAQ for immunization requirements.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and facilitating an enriching educational experience as you explore the dynamic field of plastic surgery.
