Dr. Arash Momeni Honored and Elected Vice President at German Plastic Surgery Meeting

Arash Momeni, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery at Stanford University, recently attended the 55th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, held September 25–27, 2025, in Leipzig, Germany.
Dr. Momeni delivered an invited keynote lecture titled, “From oncoplastic surgery to autologous breast reconstruction – What are the limits?”
He also served as senior author on the paper “Autologous breast reconstruction and radiotherapy – Consensus report of the German-speaking Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (GSRM),” which received the Best Paper Award at the meeting.
In addition, Dr. Momeni was elected Vice President of the German-speaking Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (GSRM).
