This year, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ (ASPS) Plastic Surgery The Meeting (PSTM) was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from October 9–11. Stanford Plastic Surgery participated in sessions across multiple subspecialties.

  • Faculty Dr. Arash Momeni was selected as Associate Editor for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal.
  • 2025 Noordhoff Lecture: David C. Fogarty, DDS, MD, Stanford Plastic Surgery alumnus, received the 2025 Noordhoff Humanitarian Award. His lecture, “Caring For Your Fellow Man Utilizing Your Professional Gifts,” focused on illustrating how one can share their surgical skills with the less fortunate through life-changing procedures while maintaining a viable plastic surgery practice. The Noordhoff Humanitarian Award honors plastic surgeons who dedicate their careers to humanitarian outreach
  • ASPS Inventors Challenge: Steven Bates, Stanford alumnus, presented his invention FitRhap — a simple, effective, and affordable device that performs at-home, on-demand massage for post-operative patients.
  • Stanford Plastic Surgery / Zedplast Alumni held a joint reception Hosted at The Will & The Way, 719 Toulouse Street, New Orleans, LA.
     

The next PSTM annual meeting will take place October 15–18, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.
