Dr. Matthew Murphy has joined the residency program directorship as Associate Program Director. 

Residency Program Director, Paige Fox, says "Over the past several years and over the next several years our residency program will grow from 18 residents to 28 residents. Dr. Murphy will be an additional leader for our expanding program. Specifically, Dr. Murphy will be the clinical leader for the Stanford service.  In this role, he will be the point person for scheduling issues both for the faculty and the chief residents.  He will review the quarterly resident schedule as well as the weekly OR/Clinic schedule to make sure the schedules are balanced and adhere to both the scheduling priorities as well as ACGME regulations. He will assure the residents on the Stanford service receive timely feedback both at the midpoint and end of rotation evaluations. Additionally, Dr. Murphy serves as the faculty liaison for wellness in the Division. He will expand this role as the faculty mentor for resident wellness."
