Cleft & Craniofacial Surgery at Stanford

Overview

Medical conditions affecting a child’s head or face can have a profound impact on physical development, communication, and emotional well-being. At Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Cleft and Craniofacial Center, one of the world’s leading providers of craniofacial care, children of all ages receive comprehensive treatment for congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions. Our team is dedicated to restoring function, supporting healthy development, and helping each child thrive.

Multidisciplinary Craniofacial Care

Because craniofacial conditions are often complex, successful treatment requires a coordinated, team-based approach. Stanford’s Cleft and Craniofacial Center brings together specialists from more than a dozen subspecialties to create individualized treatment plans. Services extend beyond surgery and may include genetic evaluation, speech therapy, hearing assessment, dental and orthodontic care, and psychological support. We serve as a medical home for patients and families, ensuring continuity of care from infancy through adolescence.
