INSIDE CSPS2024: Stanford Plastic Surgery Recap

The California Society of Plastic Surgeons held its 2024 meeting in Carlsbad, CA this past weekend. There were several highlights for Stanford Plastic Surgery:
- Resident Dr. Kelsey Lipman and Research Fellow Maheen Akhter both took home awards in the ePoster Competition for their studies
- Research Fellow Kassandra Carrion presented her poster entitled, "Financial Analysis of Costs Associated with O-FAFF and TRAM Flap for Breast Reconstruction" (Mentor: Faculty Dr. Dung Nguyen)
- Researcher Jagmeet Arora presented his research, "Longitudinal Nerve and Muscle Changes in a Murine Model of Chronic Nerve Compression" (Mentor: Faculty Dr. Paige Fox)
- Faculty Dr. Dung Nguyen presented during the Hot Topics panel on Omental Breast & Lymphatic Reconstruction
- Faculty Dr. Rahim Nazerali presented "Cementing a Successful Outcome in Breast Reconstruction"
